A renowned name in the field of substance abuse, Lee Weiss of New York is the Chief Executive Officer of two in-patient detoxification and rehabilitation services companies. Over a period of almost fifteen years, Lee has worked in a variety of roles in this field including that of a volunteer, business consultant, and an operator and owner of inpatient and outpatient treatment and wellness centers. Talking about the facilities he is currently managing, the Elev8 Center Addiction and Wellness Center a 75-bed inpatient facility in Harlem and the Urban Recovery is a 36-bed facility in Brooklyn, NY.
Lee Weiss of New York holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). He has participated in a few Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan and is currently finishing his Rabbinical Ordination with Chabad Lubavitch in Brooklyn, NY (2020). Lee is also working on his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Lee is a member of several organizations that work in the field of substance abuse including the Harlem Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee and the Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Providers of New York. He has been a speaker and panelist at the New York Health Care Summit for two years in a row. In addition to this, Lee also sits on the Northern Manhattan Substance Abuse Task Force and the education scholarship committee of ASAP.
Lee Weiss, other than being the CEO of Elev8 Centers and Urban Recovery, is also the Director of the Elev8 Foundation – a 501C3 non-profit organization based in New York. It offers a registered opioid overdose prevention program and assists those in recovery with all the required case management and financial support. He is fulfilling his wish of giving back to the community through these facilities.
